Be mindful and healthy this summer with walking meditation on the lakefront with Unity Chicago! All are welcome. (Our Youth Program will be open early these dates for parents to join the walk, too!)

In our walking meditation, you move your body without a specific goal beyond walking with awareness. You focus on your breath, feelings, and thoughts, as well as the sensations and movements of your body with each step you take. It’s an active process where you are purposely aware while moving through your environment.

WALK WILL INCLUDE:

• 5 - 10 minutes of warm-up stretches

• Walk for 20 - 30 minutes (designated path along Sheridan Road and beach front)

• 5 - 10 minutes of cool down stretches

• AND back just in time for Sunday service!

Join Prayer Chaplain, Linda Tinson, before service for our Fall 2023 series of mindful Sunday mornings on these Sunday dates:

Sept 24th. , October 1st, and October 15th

TIME: Attendees will meet in Unity Chicago parking lot at 10AM,

PARENTS / CAREGIVERS: Drop off kids (ages 4 to 18) for their own fun and spiritual adventure! Our Youth Program will open as early as 9:45AM on these dates.
